Had an excellent night at the Devon - fresh clean renovated new room looking out onto the courtyard, great duvet cover - lovely comfortable bed - yummy breakfast - and the best thing was the price! :) we got a super dooper deal so thanks Pete may your rooms always be full! Cheers Vikki & Steve

Would definately not have paid full price for the room we were given and had no air conditioning except an electric fan so had to leave window open through the night to let some air in. My friend who had booked the same price room had air conditioning and much more modern room. Breakfast was delicious and well worth the price. Overall not a bad stay.

absouloutley beautifull stay we dined a the marbles both nights and the food was absouloutley gorgeous! if we ever came to New Plymouth again would undoubtly stay at the devon!

We had a very unhappy night at The Devon. The windows of our room opened into the court yard, next to the windows was the 'smokers table' so people sat next to our windows smoking - yuck. When I put something in the fridge I found the last occupants dirty drink bottle. There was no rubbish bin in the kitchen (and I use that term losely) area for teabags etc. Nowhere to put our suitcases. When we tried to get to sleep there was so much noise coming from the court yard and from the room above I couldn't sleep. Very disappointing.
